The Glockenspiel Open Source License

In essence, the Glockenspiel Open Source License is a license in which readers are allowed to:

Redistribute
Adapt
Translate

All without needing permission from the author.

SOLARPUNX and other GOSL works, so long as it is done non-commercially, with credit, and is released under the same license. Please note this only applies to publicly available or previously publicly available content, and not content exclusive to Patreon. Essentially, It is similar to the Creative Common's CC-BY-NC-SA license. However, there are some other notes to keep in mind of.

Commercial Rights

"Non-Commercial" does not refer to self-published works such as fan-merchandise and zines. These works are referred to as "derivative works". Derivative works MUST be created originally by the artist, and not by stolen artworks from other people. if someone stole your fanart and sold it on a shirt, please contact is and we will help you take it down. However, adaptations that require money to be created such as crowdfunding MUST have our permission and commercial license first.
Additionally, ad revenue is considered commercial if the comic is redistributed to a website that contains ads. redistribution must not be monetized under any circumstance. All current mirrors on our website are considered official.

"Elsagate Content"

All permissions are considered null if derivative works are suspected to be "Elsagate Content". Elsagate Content is content fitting these descriptions:

Low quality videos on YouTube, Youtube Kids, Youtube Shorts, TikTok, or Instragram Reels that exploit permissions from the GOSL by mass-producing videos relating to SOLARPUNX or other GOSL works targeted to children and are clearly made to farm views
Sexually explicit or suggestive content on YouTube, Youtube Kids, Youtube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook posts, X/Twitter posts, or Instragram Reels, especially if it is suspected that the author is targeting children and are clearly made to farm views
Plagiarism of fan content on Youtube, Youtube Kids, Youtube Shorts, TikTok, or Instragram Reels such as comic dubs that were not made by the original artist, be it a comic dub of our original content or derivative works of our content made by a fan.

Please note that NSFW or R-18 content is not inherently forbidden for derivative works, it is only forbidden if any of the descriptions above apply to the work.
Comic dubs are also not inherently banned for SOLARPUNX as long as they are not monetized.

What is NOT considered "Elsagate Content"

Erotic/R-18/NSFW derivative works is not "Elsagate content" as long as it is not being used to farm for views and ad revenue on SNS platforms. Properly rated material does not go against the GOSL license.
This also includes derivative works that contain upsetting, gorey, or controversial themes so long as it doesn't break the other rules for hateful/offensive content either.

Hateful/Offensive Content

As per the themes of the story, any kind of regressive ideologies and hateful content is forbidden. Do not use SOLARPUNX or any other GOSL works to promote hateful content or to promote a political candidate.
Hateful content includes:

Racism, white supremacy
Sexism
Zionism
Homophobia or transphobia
Pedophilia, Bestiality, Incest, and Child Sexual Exploitation Material
Fascism/Nazism/Neo-Nazism
Ableism
Any political candidate regardless of their beliefs

Violations of any of the rules mentioned above may result in legal action such as a DMCA.
